I love my blackberry. I’ve had a number of iphones and a few blackberry models already. Blackberry Messenger adds so much value – namely no charge messages between contacts.
My main point of pain with my device is the limited space for applications. On one hand it wants to compete with the iphone by having a diverse application store and on the other hand it limits me to a tenth of the hard drive space to store these value added programs. Here is my main pain with this – I have an 8gb sd card, a 700+ mb built in hard drive and yet if I install more than 6 apps, the device slows to a halt. Plagued by memory leaks, I’m left scrambling for a few extra megs of space as a buffer.
The simple solutions – RIM – please either open up more space on the local drive or allow me to install apps to the external drive. You’re stunting my ability to expand my device and taking all the added value out of the device by limiting it’s extensibility.
